Knowledge Navigator: Apple’s 30 year old vision almost here today

The Knowledge Navigator was an Apple concept from 1987, looking at where computing could go. It was something beyond what a PC at the time could hope to accomplish.

Mobile, touch-based, responsive to vocals, wireless network connections, multitasking, push notifications, little need for a keyboard and more. It does a pretty good job (Scully was running Apple then so the design is not that great.)

We are not quite there yet but the computing power of the iPad Pro demonstrates we shortly could be. Apple did a great job predicting the future. Even to the point of worrying about carbon dioxide emissions.

Now if I could just have an office like this guy.
