Solar Power Takes Giant Strides as Prices Fall

Massive solar power stations are being built in the world’s “sun belts”—with the U.S. and India competing to have the largest in the world.


One cool fact – because of low air pollution, the solar farms in the US are better than India and elsewhere. Little (or no) water is needed to keep them clean and efficient.

Looks like Arizona will be useful for reducing carbon emissions, even as climate change makes it much less habitable.
