A very nice article from a Slate journalist who did not know he had employed Salam Pax until returning to the US. Whether Pax existed and who he was has been a raging argument on the Internet for months. His blog provided a unique viewpoint of Baghdad, different from the pro-war and anti-war voices seen on so many US blogs. He managed to infuriate as many as he enchanted. I am sure that we will see his story on TV sometime soon.
