Another strategic MS error

Rumor: First Microsoft Surface tablet units to be Wi-Fi only

Details regarding the final specs of Microsoft’s Surface tablet have been scarce since the device was announced on Monday but it was revealed on Thursday that the first units to be sold will only be equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity.

The most popular version of Apple’s iPad has been the 3G one. Yet MS first version will be Wi-Fi only.

Perhaps the report is wrong and MS will realize that 3G or higher connectivity is important.

      As I state in my comments to the link, perhaps the report is wrong.

      MS has shown nothing in its specs to indicate that wireless (3G or LTE) will be available. But maybe something will change. Perhaps MS will provide some information to clear all this up.

      If they do, I will certainly mention it.
